Uninsured items

Whilst outpatient appointments, the treatment and followup visits are covered by your insurance the cost of the splint is NOT covered.  There is a fixed cost of £60 for the splint which is payable by cheque or cash at the time of the appointment.  I believe the splint to be an essential part of the process and therefore this charge cannot be waived.
